Sarah Shell, Health Visitor with 12 years’ experience spent a day with the The Citizen editor, Ruth Cross, sharing what a a day in the life of a Health Visitor consists of as part of the Public Health Nursing 4 Slough (PHN4S) team.
Our Public Health Nursing 4 Slough (PHN4S) team are made up of a range of health professionals that provide an integrated 0-19 public health nursing service, and up to 25 years for individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). Health Visitors play a key role in this team, and we were pleased to share more about the fantastic work that they carry out every day with The Citizen, a paper sent out across the Slough Borough.
Following Sarah through her visits that day, the article highlights the amount of variety that the role brings, visiting families and learning about their individual circumstances. For Sarah, this variety is what she loves most about her job! Here at Solutions 4 Health, we take pride in our fantastic staff and we are so pleased that Sarah was able to showcase the important work that she does as a Health Visitor.
