No Smoking Day is taking place on Wednesday 14th March this year and our services will be supporting this with a range of events and activity across the country.
This is an annual national Public Health campaign aimed to encourage people to stop smoking on the day, and to continue this quit attempt with the support of their local stop smoking service. The aim is to encourage people to sign up and to access the stop smoking service, with a focus on population groups that have a high smoking prevalence. This campaign is also an opportunity to celebrate the success of clients that have stopped smoking previously with the service, meaning that they are non-smokers on No Smoking Day.
