On Tuesday 9th April we were very pleased to attend the 6th National Safeguarding Conference, ‘Reforms to Reality’ with our Public Health Nursing 4 Slough team.
The conference provided the opportunity for safeguarding professionals to explore developments in safeguarding through listening to people with lived experience, sharing best practice and exploring with experts the implementation of recent safeguarding reforms. Through this all participants will be able to explore best ways of influencing system transformation across health and care, ensuring safeguarding remains a principle and visible cornerstone of change.
Our Public Health Nursing 4 Slough is committed to the protection and safeguarding of all who use their services including children and young people. The team ensure that the outcomes for children are improved by having robust safeguarding children arrangements in place, multi-agency working and ensures that the voices of children are heard.
