The Department of Health and Social Care want to thank staff for their tireless work and recognise the vital role that adult social care staff have played in our national response to the Covid-19 outbreak and will continue to play in supporting those who need care. They believe that CARE badges will encourage a clearer common identity, greater recognition and a stronger voice for our vitally important adult social care workforce.
It is hoped that these badges will create a legacy of recognition to last beyond the current crisis. This will amplify the importance of social care and give the social care workforce the professional acknowledgement they deserve.
