We are delighted to have been awarded the contract as the provider for the West Sussex Specialist Stop Smoking Service. We will be working with and training a range of partners to raise awareness, generate referrals and sign post eligible clients to the stop smoking service to achieve the 5265 target of 4 week quitters.
As part of this major contract, in addition to the general population, we will be targeting and engaging with the following priority groups to motivate and support them to undertake a successful quit attempt:
- Minority ethnics
- Routine and manual workers
- Smoker with at least 5 unsuccessful quit attempts
- Deprived areas
- Young people (under 25)
- Mental health users in the community
- Pregnant smokers and their partners
As well as providing the treatment element to stop smoking, we will also be coordinating a range of activities to deliver a prevention component, specifically within the target groups.

We have a highly knowledgeable and skilled team who have joined Solutions 4 Health under TUPE arrangements, as well as new recruited individuals, which means clients in West Sussex will continue to receive a first class service.
