World Mental Health Day
Wednesday 10th October is World Mental Health day where we will be supporting the World Federation for Mental Health to draw attention to the importance of mental health.
This year’s theme is “Young people and mental Health in a changing world”. World Mental Health Day 2018 will show the importance of creating more services and better care for our young people, and the issues they are experiencing the most these days. The acts of prevention, early interventions, resilience, available information and services are the key factors in creating a healthy future for our young people.
All our services across S4H provide equal and accessible care to all, working closely with local partners to ensure that we are able to provide an excellent level of support to all. Our Public Health Nursing 4 Slough, 0-19, service provides a range of support including emotional health and wellbeing. The school nursing service offers a wide range of care packages to support children, young people, parents and families support with managing emotions.
